Nancy Samayoa
Nancy Samayoa is a designer and educator at the University of Melbourne who is passionate about digital design, immersive technologies, the intersection of more-than-human design and human experience.
Nancy’s collaboration with the Deep Design Lab investigates designing for invertebrates in urban spaces, and eco-centric design education. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Design from Queensland University of Technology, with a major in Architectural Studies and a minor in Collaborative Digital Design and Sustainability, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Melbourne.
Nancy has presented her research on design pedagogy at the AMPS (Architecture Media, Politics, Society) conference in April 2021. Her research interests in this area are furthered through her teaching experience at the University of Melbourne, which focuses on digital design and fabrication, as well as representing more-than-human concepts within design education.
